Do I need to provide the DMV my certificate of education even though...?

I have my permit to get my license ? To get my learners permit I had to show the certificate of completion in the education part. But I lost that certificate. So when I go to appy for my driver's license, do I need to show that certificate again ? Or do I just show my certificate of 6 hours of Behind-The-Wheel training ?
